The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) aims to engage the New York City market—the most populous city in the United States—as a strategic effort to boost global tourism revenue. The goal is to reach a broad audience across the NYC metropolitan area and inspire them to travel internationally.
To achieve this, FBOP promoted a diverse range of volunteer skills through paid and organic social media campaigns.
Response
Develop a responsive travel guide website focused on providing trip advice, travel guidelines, destination insights, and inspiration. To drive awareness and engagement, a series of digital display ads will also be created to resonate with the diverse New York City audience. Conducted research to identify key motivations for travel, as well as popular global destinations, to inform a compelling visual narrative for the campaign.
Result
To stand out in typically monotone ad environments, I incorporated vibrant colors and gradients that draw attention and evoke emotion. The visuals feature an everyday person to create a relatable, human connection—conveying the message that, regardless of who you are, there’s always a reason to explore. Additionally, I contributed to the development of a design system to ensure consistency across campaign assets and streamline collaboration for designers and developers.
