KIN29, a Japan-based company, sought to introduce its line of 1/6 scale figurines—based on the popular wrestling-themed anime and manga Kinnikuman—to the American market. The promotion focused on one of its most pivotal story arcs: Scramble for the Throne. This arc features a compelling lineup of six characters, each closely connected to the series' protagonist.

As Kinnikuman is also known for its distinct comedic elements, the creative direction needed to reflect both the intensity and unique personality of each of the six featured characters and their individual storylines.

Kinnikuman is all about burning spirit, a passion to fight for those he cares for, and the fiery theme would be no different by incorporating reds, yellows and oranges throughout the creative.

Wrestling is also known for its flair in the ring, so the idea was to encapsulate a larger than life feeling when it came to advertising one of the figurines while showcasing the dynamic poses of the characters.
